LaserTouch - New Microsoft's Toy
Category: Technology
Microsoft is continue to create new toys for us. Microsoft Research's labs introduce us a prototype of multitouch sensor - LaserTouch, this is a gadget with projector and monitor, which allows us to to control different actions on the screen by using our hands.
Now we can forget about our keyboards and mouses. LaserTouch is using an infrared camera to track our hands and special software do the rest job. It can use different surfaces, for example - your wall and it's low-cost. But Microsoft is not telling the prize, because Microsoft have some work to do with LaserTouch, it has some problems with the technology.
LaserTouch was invented by Andy Wilson, a researcher from Microsoft.
It will be really cool to play with LaserTouch. I'm waiting for this staff in the shops to play chess with my friends=).
